As an AmeriCorps Community Resource Navigator, you will serve as a trusted link between community members and critical services - housing stability, food access, healthcare, transportation, and more.  You will service hands on with individuals and community partners to reduce barriers and help families more toward long term stability.
Position starts September 2026 - term is approximately 10 months.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in community settings, cares deeply about equity and enjoys problem solving with people.  Training is provided. 
  • 1:1 meetings with older adults to assess need, goal planning, referral to resources, and follow up.
  • Event planning.
  • Front desk support.
  • Recruitment of senior companions.
  • Assisting with programming.
  • Each CRN will develop a hub specific project to benefit the location.
This partnership aligns with the UWGLV mission to empower older adults and foster a connected, compassionate community. 
  • Willing to serve full time for a modest living allowance of $24k and education award.
