The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, performance, and quality control of the maintenance technicians within the division. This role ensures that all maintenance services are completed efficiently, meet company standards, and deliver a high level of customer satisfaction. The Service Manager supervises a team of Maintenance Technicians and plays a key role in scheduling oversight, process compliance, and service program growth.

Team Leadership & Supervision
  • Manage, coach, and support a team of Maintenance Technicians
  • Monitor team performance and provide ongoing feedback and training
  • Foster accountability and adherence to company standards and expectations
  • Service Manager is expected to bill a minimum of 25 hours per week
Quality Control
  • Ensure all maintenance work meets company quality standards and client expectations
  • Conduct inspections and follow-ups on completed work
  • Address and resolve any service deficiencies or customer concerns promptly
Scheduling Oversight
  • Review and approve daily schedules prepared by the Maintenance Coordinator
  • Ensure efficient routing, proper prioritization, and optimal use of team resources
  • Adjust schedules as needed to respond to urgent or changing needs
  • Direct technicians each day on proper execution of the assigned work orders - clear expectations to be delivered and monitored
Process & Compliance
  • Ensure all technicians consistently follow company procedures, safety protocols, and service standards
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency
  • Maintain proper documentation and reporting for all maintenance activities
ProCare Program Management
  • Oversee the ProCare service program (external handyman services)
  • Meet with clients to assess needs and develop service solutions
  • Prepare estimates, pricing, and proposals for ProCare projects
  • Ensure services are delivered to a high standard, with a focus on exceeding client expectations
  • Proactively upsell services where appropriate to maximize value and client satisfaction
Fleet & Equipment Management
  • Oversee the maintenance and condition of company service vehicles
  • Ensure all vehicles receive scheduled maintenance and required servicing
  • Track maintenance schedules, inspections, and repairs to minimize downtime and extend vehicle life
  • Promote proper use and care of vehicles by maintenance staff
  • Maintain an inventory of company owned tools and assets and ensure compliance with company policies regarding such
Customer Service
  • Serve as a point of escalation for client concerns
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Ensure a high level of responsiveness and professionalism in all interactions
  • • Experience in property maintenance, facilities management, or a related field
