Harvest Overnight Mill Worker

This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation and monitoring of Mill Equipment, ensuring that the rice is milled and graded according to predetermined standards. This position is also responsible for the safe and efficient loading of trucks with by-products as needed. May also cross train for other positions.
Will need to be attentive and be able to work overnights effectively. Take frequent measurements of bins to ensure they do not overflow, keep a well-maintained work area, and other duties assigned by supervisor. Will need to be ok with heights and small spaces. Will need to be able to operate a man lift.

- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
- Must be able to distinguish colors.
- Assist others with any other activities that may need assistance.
- Perform daily inspections of equipment; notify management of need for repairs.
- Perform light maintenance work and keep work area clean.
- Perform any requests provided by Supervisor.
- Work within a team environment.
- Responsible for complying with all safety rules, procedures and good manufacturing practices set forth by the company and the government.

- Stay on your feet for 8 hour shifts
