Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Clean mill floors, walls, conveyors, equipment, and production areas.
  • Use push brooms, blowers, shovels, and other cleaning tools to remove rice hulls, dust, and debris.
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the mill to support safe and efficient operations.
  • Perform cleaning duties both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Work safely at heights and in small or confined spaces, following all required safety procedures.
  • Identify and report unsafe conditions or maintenance concerns to management.
  • Follow company safety policies and housekeeping standards.
  • Perform additional cleaning and general labor duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Previous industrial cleaning, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred but not required.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work in dusty environments and varying temperatures.
  • Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors.
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment
  • This position involves continuous physical activity in an industrial rice milling environment. Employees will work around production equipment, conveyors, dust, and rice hulls. Work may involve elevated areas, confined spaces, and exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Required personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times.
