Looking for a Lead Production Associate to run our on-demand printing and finishing operation. You will lead and train a team of 10-15 production associates, keep printers and framing stations running smoothly, and make sure orders go out accurately and on time, especially during our peak season.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily production of on-demand printed wall art, including printing, trimming, framing, and packing
  • Supervise, train, and coach a team of 10-15 production associates to meet daily and weekly production goals
  • Assign tasks, set pace, and balance workloads across stations to keep orders moving
  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot printers, resolving common issues quickly to minimize downtime
  • Assemble and finish framed art, including wood frame assembly as needed
  • Perform quality checks on prints and framed pieces and correct issues before orders ship
  • Process and ship orders using ShipStation and Shopify
  • Track production counts, output, and issues using Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and Building Operations Manager to plan staffing, prioritize orders, and improve workflow
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and follow all warehouse safety procedures
  • Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) to move materials and finished goods, if qualified
  • Support peak-season demand with flexible scheduling, including night shift coverage

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in on-demand printing
  • Hands-on experience working with framed art
  • Experience troubleshooting printers
  • Experience leading and training teams of 10-15 associates
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Familiarity with basic warehouse systems, including ShipStation and Shopify
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including standing for long periods, lifting, and handling large or awkward items
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule during peak season
  • Comfortable leading a team to meet production goals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Woodworking or wood frame assembly experience
  • Powered industrial truck (PIT) equipment experience

Schedule

  • Regular schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Peak-season night shift: May be required to work 4:30 PM - 1:00 AM for a two-month period from December through January.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • Work takes place in a warehouse and office setting
  • Regularly standing, walking, bending, and lifting; ability to lift and move framed art, boxes, and materials safely
  • Exposure to typical warehouse conditions, including noise, equipment, and temperature variation
  • Use of printers, framing tools, and powered industrial trucks (if qualified) in accordance with safety guidelines
  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Accept a background check to be performed
  • Accept a drug test to be performed

  • Stay on your feet for 8 hour shifts
