Midland, TX  Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Diesel Mechanic)
Location: Midland, TX - Tenaris Facility
Employment: Full-time, Day shift
Pay: $32-40/hr DOE
Job Title: Diesel Mechanic - Heavy Equipment, Forklift & Gen Set Specialist
Reporting To: Maintenance Manager

Qualifications
  • Diagnostics & Troubleshooting - Ability to quickly identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
  • Hydraulic Systems Expertise - Understanding of hydraulic schematics, pumps, valves, and cylinders.
  • Diesel Engine Repair & Maintenance - Proficiency with large diesel engines, fuel systems, and emissions technology.
  • Electrical & Electronic Systems - Skilled in reading wiring diagrams, repairing harnesses, sensors, alternators, and controllers (CAN bus systems).
  • Powertrain Systems - Knowledge of transmissions, drivetrains, axles, and torque converters.
  • Preventative Maintenance - Scheduling and executing PMs to reduce downtime and extend machine life.
  • Hydraulic and Pneumatic Tool Operation - Safe and efficient use of specialty tools for large machinery.
