Under general supervision, supports Warn Industries’ mechanical and electrical needs through installing, repairing, replacing and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment, fixtures and systems.  Completes preventative maintenance and TPM projects.  Performs repairs and preventive maintenance on a wide variety of facility and production equipment, fixtures and systems.  Performs basic personal computer tasks (window functions, outlook, word, excel).  Demonstrates initiative to learn new computer software’s as needed.  Performs basic and advanced troubleshooting on machine tools (CNC).  Assist engineering when needed.

Essential Functions:
  • Work safely and without injury.
  • Assembles and installs mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment and systems such as production machinery/ fixtures.
  • Uses variety of hand and power tools, and machines to perform duties.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs electro-mechanical equipment and systems requiring the isolation of the malfunction, disassembly of equipment and repair/replacement of electrical and mechanical parts.
  • Reviews work requests for repairs and maintenance determines nature of problem and recommends appropriate solution.
  • Responsible for prompt and regular attendance as scheduled.
  • May perform preventive maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems.
  • May perform non-certified welding and simple machining operations incidental to repair and maintenance tasks. 
  • May do limited carpentry and painting.
  • May have assigned duties in carrying out the hazardous materials program.
  • May participate in Warn Industries’ Selection Process.
  • Participates in team meetings as required (safety, problem-solving, etc.)
  • Implements the Quality Policy and Procedures in all aspects of daily duties and responsibilities.
  • May be required to work overtime.
  • Ability to follow work instructions and code requirements as required, including following the National Electric code.
  • Use personal computer window applications to perform job functions and team communications.
  • Ability to understand control systems and manufacturing machinery.
  • Ability to identify root cause and recommend improvements if needed.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting on CNC machine tools and may be asked to troubleshoot to higher levels if needed.
  • Positively engage with engineering when asked to assist with automation projects.
Required Education and/or Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Five or more years Mechanical Maintenance experience preferred.
  • Two or more years Limited Manufacturing Electrician experience preferred.
  • Current State of Oregon Limited Manufacturing Electrician License or higher license from the State of Oregon required.

  • Ability to troubleshoot machinery to a basic level as well as to troubleshoot to the component level if needed.

  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

  • Willing to work a swing shift (3pm - 1:30am)
  • Walk, bend, squat, or twist as well as repetitively push or pull

  • Minimum High School Degree or GED
