Assistant Technician - Electronics Repair

Location: Coatesville, PA
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Openings Available: Multiple

Position Overview

We are hiring Assistant Technicians to support hands-on repair and refurbishment of electronic devices in a fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for candidates with experience disassembling and reassembling cell phones or other small electronics, as well as those with strong mechanical aptitude who are eager to learn.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience disassembling and reassembling cell phones or similar small electronics
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
  • Basic troubleshooting and rework skills
  • Ability to use small hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and tracking
  • Flexibility to learn new tasks and support team needs

Preferred (But Not Required)

  • Cell phone repair experience
  • Experience working with electronics such as:
    • Game consoles
    • Computers or laptops
    • Internet or networking devices
    • Other small electronic assemblies
Training is available for candidates who demonstrate mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.

Interview Process

Qualified candidates will be scheduled for an interview, which may include a hands-on skills demonstration with electronic devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Disassemble and reassemble electronic devices according to established procedures
  • Analyze device issues and perform break/fix repairs using standard methods
  • Remove and replace components such as LCDs, batteries, motherboards, and screws
  • Ensure devices meet cosmetic and quality standards after repair
  • Accurately document repairs using basic computer systems
  • Assist with other production or technical tasks as needed
  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Within a commutable distance from Coatesville, PA
  • Experience with electronic or mechanical repair
