Electronics Repair Technicians (Tech B) Various Locations
The Electronics Repair and Testing Technician is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic assemblies and components to the component level. This role requires the ability to read and interpret schematics, diagnose circuit failures, and perform high-quality repairs while maintaining strict quality and performance standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong knowledge of electronic circuit theory and componentry
Proven ability to troubleshoot electronics at the component level
Experience soldering small, fine-pitch components on surface-mount PCBs
Excellent manual dexterity and strong visual acuity for precision work
Ability to accurately solder small components without rework defects
Comfortable working with software and computer-based systems
Ability to follow written procedures and technical instructions
Preferred Qualifications
Electronic certification (IPC, ETA, military electronics training, or similar)
Technical military electronics experience
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant Electronics Technician or similar role
Strong soldering and rework skills (SMT preferred)
Pre-Employment Requirements
Completion of required technical questionnaire
Completion of knock-out screening questions prior to interview
Physical & Vision Requirements
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
Ability to handle small components and tools
Excellent near-vision required for precision soldering and inspection

Document repairs and testing results as required Work with software-based diagnostic tools and electronic interfaces as needed
