At Daffy Ducts, our Sales Technician Assistants assist in completing all our duct and dryer vent cleaning jobs. As a Sales Technician Assistant, you are responsible for job execution, quality and assisting with the operation of your assigned business unit (truck) which includes learning how to count inventory and supplies and order replacements/additional stock when asked. As with all of our team members, we expect you to have positive energy, work well with others, keep safety top of mind, and be committed to self-development as well as the development of coworkers and the team. You are crucial to our success because you are our in-person connection to our customers! The work you do directly impacts the vitality of our business; your work determines whether or not our customers decide to call back or go elsewhere. As Sales Technician Assistant, you can progress to a Sales Technician Apprentice, Sales Technician, management positions, or move laterally within the company. You are an ideal candidate for this role if have a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, take initiative, and have a "can-do" attitude.   • Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED and possess and maintain a valid driver's license with good driving history. Employees must possess and maintain reliable personal transportation Must successfully pass background check and drug screening. HVAC or Duct Cleaning licenses/certifications considered a plus.  

  • Previous Experience: Some work experience in a Duct CleaningHVAC, or a comparable hands-on trade a plus and one year of experience showing proven success in customer service. Industry-related apprenticeships, internships, or other forms of work study may be used in lieu of traditional work experience. 

  • ExpertiseGeneral knowledge of HVAC systemsductwork/duct cleaning. Working knowledge of computers and mobile technology.

  • Inspect & maintain equipment and vehicle. 

  • Commute to and from each job on a daily basis. 

  • Follow all instructions pertaining to the use of technology and devices used in the course of our business. 

  • Complete any pre-work checklists and walk through the cleaning process with customers, educating them about our services and products; articulate the value of what we do and promote added services that benefit the customer. 

  • Thoroughly examine worksite prior to beginning work then safely unload any necessary supplies and equipment. 

  • Complete duct cleaning or dryer vent cleaning process based on company protocol and procedures. Complete work in a safe, respectfulneat, thorough, efficient, and timely manner; taking ultimate care to protect yourself and others, the customer's home and possessions, and company assets. 

  • Use your expertise and product knowledge to problem solve and troubleshoot issues before involving management. 

  • Thoroughly inspect all work and the work area; checking for cleanliness, safety, accuracy, and quality; complete any post-job checklists. 

  • Review the completed job with your Sales and Service Technician and correct any issues you may find. 

  • Breakdown the jobsite and return equipment to the truck in an organized and safe manner. 

  • Work with your assigned teammate  

  • Develop self, coworkers, and team. 

  • Meet goals and fulfill duties as assigned. 


  • Environment: Indoor & outdoor environment daily. 

  • ExposuresDirt, dust, loud noise, varying weather conditions (dry/wet, cold/hot, etc.) daily. 

  • Physicality: Walk, stand, sit, stoop, squat, climb, reach, grasp, push, pull, bend for long periods of time daily 

  • Schedule Demands: Must be able to work flexible hours as needed to support the business. Occasional overtime. 

  • Able to lift/move up to 50lbs and up to 100lbs with assistance and work in narrow spaces repeatedly throughout the work day. Able to use large pieces of equipment and hand tools on a regular basis; solid mechanical aptitude. Must access and work in crawlspaces, attics, and roofs on a regular basis.
  • High School Diploma/GED. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving history and have access to reliable transportation. Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screen. Additional certifications, licenses, or degrees in HVAC, a trade, business, operations, sales, human resources, or finance considered a plus.
