LEAD Duct Cleaning Technician - PAID TRAINING

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with good driving history; a company vehicle may be provided but employees must possess and maintain reliable personal transportation. Must successfully pass background check and drug screening.
Previous Experience: Six months work experience in a Duct Cleaning, HVAC, or a comparable role and one year of experience showing proven success in customer service. Technical field or sales experience considered a plus. Industry-related apprenticeships, internships, or other forms of work study may be used in lieu of traditional work experience. HVAC or Duct Cleaning licenses/certifications considered a plus.
Expertise: General knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork/duct cleaning, and sales. Working knowledge of computer and mobile technology.
Intellectual Skills: Strong Commitment to Customer Satisfaction, Critical Thinking, Effective Listening, Time Management, Collaboration, Prioritization, Adaptability, Strong Communication skills, Problem Solving, etc. Budgeting a plus.
Physical/Tactical Skills: Able to lift/move up to 50lbs and up to 100lbs with assistance and work in narrow spaces repeatedly throughout the workday. Able to use large pieces of equipment and hand tools daily, solid mechanical aptitude. Must access and work in crawlspaces, attics, and roofs daily.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive your Company vehicle to and from your assigned location to all assigned jobsites in a safe manner following all driver safety training tips, tricks and protocols.
Complete daily vehicle inspections following current standards of operating procedure.
Maintain your Company vehicle in a clean and organized manner, taking care to secure all equipment and valuables at all times.
Keep an accurate account of all tools, equipment, and supplies.
Place orders for tools, supplies, equipment and safety gear as needed following current standards of operating procedure.
Act as the first point of contact for all customers for the entirety of the visit from initial dispatch contact to the final visit inspection following current standards of operating procedure.
Perform all Home Health and Safety Reports as required following current standards of operating procedure.
Communicate your findings during the Home Health and Safety Report Inspection to the customer and provide any estimates that are generated as a result of the inspection and effectively communicate to the customer their home's needs.
Present any additional estimates to the customer in a manner in which they see the value in the service that we are offering while maintaining honest open lines of communication and avoiding any exaggeration of the condition of their home for the sole purpose of making a sale.
Act with integrity and class throughout your interaction with our customers.
Develop jobsite procedures for your team and communicate those procedures to your assistant.
Perform assigned services following current service standards and techniques.
Act with care while performing services in customer's homes and buildings. Maintain clean and neat work areas and avoid actions that could cause harm or damage to their property.
Keep customer satisfaction top of mind in all we do.
Communicate with your assistant in a kind, respectful manner in order to foster a sense of comradery and open communication standards.
Continue to develop your team through additional trainings and team development.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Environment: Indoor & outdoor environment.
Exposures: Dirt, dust, loud noise, varying weather conditions (dry/wet, cold/hot, etc.) daily.
Physicality: Walk, stand, sit, stoop, squat, climb, reach, grasp, push, pull, and bend for long periods of time daily.
Schedule Demands: Must be able to work flexible hours as needed to support the business. Occasional overtime.
