Part Time Remote Marketing and Sales Intern - Virtual/Remote



As our Operations Support Internyou will be trained in customer service, marketing, artistic design and operational support for all lines of business and departments. You will be responsible for supporting our operations team by assisting with administration, marketing & design, direct phone sales, and other operational tasks. You will be empowered to use your skills to enhance and improve our brand awareness and marketing efforts through both online avenues as well as outbound calls. As with all of our team members, we expect you to have positive energy, work well with others, keep safety top of mind, and be committed to self-development as well as the development of coworkers and the team. You are crucial to our success because you offer critical support to both our frontline team and our sales staff. Your work is visible to internal and external stakeholders to the business, influencing both how customers and employees view the company. You will be trained throughout your 12-week internship to perform all manner of tasks and learn new skills throughout your tenure with Daffy Ducts. You are an ideal candidate for this role if you multi-task well and have strong project management skills. You will enjoy this program if you collaborate well with others and have a desire for a career in administration, marketing, or sales.

  • Assist with marketing tasks such as: developing content for print and online, brand messaging, managing and monitoring social media platforms and posts, branding of company merchandise and uniforms, reputation management, review campaign effectiveness/ROI, etc. 

  • Assist with call center and sales focused tasks as assigned. 

  • Develop self, coworkers, and team. 

  • Meet goals and fulfill duties as assigned. 

This position is a paid internship at $10 an hour for 20 hours a week. The schedule is flexible after training. 
  • Do you reside in the state of Georgia?
  • High School Diploma/GED or in the process of obtaining a secondary degree. Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with good driving history and reliable transportation. Must successfully pass background check and drug screening.
  • General knowledge of social media, basic marketing practices, computer skills, and basic phone etiquette.
  • Strong Commitment to Customer Satisfaction, Project Management, Critical Thinking, Effective Listening, Multi-tasking, Time Management, Prioritization, Adaptability, Problem Solving, Collaboration, Relationship Management, Strong Communication skills, etc.
  • Able to lift/move up to 50lbs and be able to sit for long periods of time. Must also be capable of visits to jobsites for marketing purposes.
  • Must have access to high speed internet connection and a computer to work remotely
