The Quality Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Quality Control
Department by developing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Quality
Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards. This role ensures that
manufacturing processes, products, and services consistently meet customer, regulatory, and internal
quality requirements while driving a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. The
Quality Manager fulfills supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and
applicable laws.

Quality Management System (ISO 9001)
 Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the ISO 9001 QMS.
 Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 9001 requirements and prepare the organization for
internal and external audits acting as primary point of contact.
 Manage document control and records management processes.
 Drive the management review process.

Audits & Compliance
 Plan, conduct, and report internal audits to assess QMS compliance and effectiveness.
 Act as primary point of contact for regulatory compliance (RoHS, REACH, etc.).
 Track audit findings, corrective actions, and preventative actions to closure.
Continuous Improvement
 Drive continuous improvement initiatives using quality tools such as root cause analysis, CAPA,
SPC, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
 Analyze quality data and KPI's to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Product & Process Quality
 Ensure quality standards are integrated into manufacturing processes from raw materials
through finished goods.
 Drive nonconformance management, including investigation, containment, root cause analysis,
and corrective actions.

Job Description- Quality Manager
 Collaborate with engineering and production teams on process validation, change management,
and new product information (NPI).
Supplier Quality
 Establish and maintain supplier quality requirements and performance metrics.
 Drive supplier audits and manage supplier corrective actions as needed.
 Work with procurement to ensure suppliers meet quality, regulatory, and customer expectations.
Customer Quality
 Manage customer complaints, returns, and quality-related inquiries.
 Ensure timely and effective resolution of customer issues and implementation of corrective
actions.
 Support customer audits and quality reviews.

Leadership & Training
 Lead, mentor, and develop quality team members.
 Directs workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure control over materials,
facilities, and products.
 Promote quality awareness and ISO 9001 understanding throughout the organization.
 Develop and deliver quality-related training for employees at all levels.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience
 Bachelor's degree in engineering or business from an accredited university or college, or a
minimum of 5-15+ years' experience in Quality related functions with a progressive history of
increased responsibility, particularly in the areas of product/process quality management.
 Experience in Leading Quality System Planning and Quality Improvement methods.
 Minimum of Internal Auditor training in ISO 9001 and/or AS 9100. Certified Lead Assessor is
desirable.
 Knowledge of Machining, Assembly, Auditing, and Root Cause Analysis.
 Leadership experience in the areas of Operations, Manufacturing, or Quality is preferred.
 Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
 Project/Program Management tools and process familiarity desirable.
Skills & Abilities
 Responsible and accountable for meeting customer/business needs as well as developing direct
reports.
 Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals.

Travel Requirements
 Must be able to travel weekly between Colerain and Fairfield plant locations.

required to stand, and/or walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds while
moving. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
